- SSL and domain checks try the IP first then fall back to the domain, so a moved IP never fires a false expiring alert
- Native Windows and Linux agents report CPU, memory, disk, services and custom checks
- Licence keys are encrypted at rest and shown as ••••1234; revealing one writes an audit row naming who did it
- Staged expiry reminders at 30, 10, 3 and 0 days, each firing exactly once

Everything the engine watches, and everything it does about it
Each source reports into the monitoring engine on its own schedule: agents push metrics, certificate and domain checks run on a timer, cloud resources are polled, backups report success or failure. The engine correlates and de-duplicates, then the other half of the web happens: an alert card, an assigned owner, a dashboard tile and an audit row.
